The sun shining in my face/Promień słońca na mojej twarzy

Snufkin says that One can never be enterily free but travels the world in a search for freedom. He's a loner, also I'm quite happy with solitude. We went to the forest last Sunday. Basilicata is one of Italy lesser known regions, maybe that's why Appennino Lucano National Park is so wild and uncontaminated. I left the others to collect sweet chestnuts and went for a walk.

At first I heard other people: „My jacket is so heavy... Someone's just picked all the chestnuts...” And the voices were gone. If you like being alone it's because the silence makes all things fade and fall off. I walked on rocky path looking at long, green stalks of unknown plant, and knowing that we're all part of something, and that it's very simple.

We experience ourselves as something different but what separates us are words and feelings, and those one day will be gone forever. After half an hour or so I found myself on the plain. For a while I wasn't thinking anything, looking at the grayish, naked side of Monte Raparo, and feeling the sun shining on my face.

Pojechaliśmy do lasu w niedzielę.
